Beria letters hang from a 'clothesline' above the lower case box and below the suprasegmental box. There are two types of suprasegmentals in spoken Beria; tone/stress, and ±ATR. Tone and stress are mutually exclusive; tone is only marked in transcriptions of the Beria language, and stress is only marked in the Beria writing system. Tone and stress are both marked in the top half of the suprasegmental box. +ATR is marked on the vowels [e], [i], [o] and [u] by putting a line in the bottom half of the suprasegmental box.
